A body in motion, yet never arriving. A figure dissolving, yet never gone. Spanish artist gozo’s series the fire in between exists in the liminal space where movement and stillness blur, where presence is fleeting yet undeniable. These images do not just capture struggle. They enact it. They strain. They dissolve. They refuse to be still.

There is no resolution here, only tension. Forms stretch and collapse, resisting structure, resisting erasure. Gravity is not a backdrop; it is the antagonist. The ground beckons the images down, the sky urges them forward. They waver in the in-between, never fully claimed by either.
