The Petro National NFT collection showcases the outlines of various countries and regions, portraying them as shimmering patches of gasoline on the world's ocean canvas. The project serves as a poignant exploration of the global ramifications of burning 100 million barrels of oil daily, with a particular focus on how energy consumption has evolved into a symbol of political power. It explicitly addresses the glaring disparity in oil consumption between the global north and south.

It was the first NFT to be released by Pace Verso, the NFT arm of Pace Gallery, in collaboration with Art Blocks.
