Eternidade

Aun Helden’s short video work is a digital counterpart to *Eternidade* - an artwork that traces a new relationship with the process of metamorphosis.

Metamorphosis is an eternal process of degeneration and transmutation, a cycle that incorporates non-human qualities in the creation of a new body. The artist is sensitive to the failures inherent in the process as with any process of human identity. Helden’s full *Eternidade* work was divided into 5 acts, performed in Brazil, France, Switzerland and Greece. *Eternidade* was also made into a film and a book titled ‘Fantasma Feminino’ released by publisher C.C. Collector Books in Paris, France in 2022.
