emilio.jp
emilio.jp is a digital artist whose work explores the unique behaviors and aesthetics of computer graphics through abstract, process-driven creations. His practice engages with the tools and interfaces of contemporary digital environments, transforming them into a medium for artistic expression.
From 2009 to 2015, emilio.jp developed Macintosh Lab, a series that reimagines the computer desktop as both a creative workspace and a subject of art. Using only the built-in features, tools, and shortcuts of Macintosh operating systems, he created minimalist and geometric abstractions captured via screen recordings and screenshots, emphasizing the raw, unfiltered nature of the digital workspace.
