THE SCREAM

I was walking along the road with two friends when the sun set, and the sky suddenly turned blood red. I stopped, utterly exhausted, and leaned against a fence. Over the blue-black fjord and the city, there was blood and tongues of fire. My friends kept walking, while I was still trembling with fear... And I felt that a great infinite scream was pervading nature.
