One of the many intersections between art and mathematics is the field of patterns and symmetries.

Orbifold is a project explores the visual expression of various planar symmetries by using colorful, maze-like structures. The precision of these mathematical patterns is offset by a playful use of dimensionality and an imperfect grid as the basis for the linework.
