What's in a name?
This Etch is made in tribute to provenance. I believe this is the first Etch of an Etch produced. And the Etch this is in tribute to has been burned.
I created my first etch #31 as an experiment to be burned. I used the series "Burner" as it seemed like a great fit thematically.
I've wanted to explore both the question of provenance. If etch 31 no longer exists, will this tribute effectively exist in it's stead? Maybe not. It depends on social consensus I suppose. I'm also interested in nesting. what novel ways can we group or layer Etches for extended utility?
Whether this proves to be a worthwhile experiment is something we'll find though further exploration. I think Vaults acting as mailboxes or libraries could be really interesting. And the potential for that box to be held by a multi-sig could allow decentralized institutions more benefit as well.
As I'd said in my initial Etch. "The first etching I make is one to be burned A Burner being used Seemed the most fitting to learn"
