Our web3 space is one of the most impressive, lovely, inspiring, yet greedy, impatient and disappointing phenomenons I ever experienced or heard off.
While there's an abundance of kind and smart people pouring their heart into art, tech or solutions of any kind, there are even more bad actors trying to rob, trick and deceive us in a most selfish manner.
Imagine our whole ecosystem and everything and everyone in it being translated/transponed into a small countryside village for a moment: The amplitudes are - compared to a village in our physical world - totally off the charts. Mindblowingly off the charts. Every hour, there's a new ground-breaking invention, people become rich within minutes, people lose all their belongings in a fraction of second. It's crazy if you think about it. Everything is on fast-forward, louder, more intense.
But it's happening on the internet, partially on blockchains. This is not "real", but what is? I don't know. Will this change while our space matures? Less loud? Less crazy? I don't know. While we have the tech to conserve data indefintely, it's much more difficult to conserve this mixture of emotions, exitement, uncertainty I am currently experiencing when vibing through the space.
Maybe this etch can help me remember. Maybe it won't. Let's see.
