The Threshold State investigates the constant, fluid negotiation between our internal world and our external performance. Using the city and its architecture as a symbol for societal pressures, the work delves into the facades we construct to exist within these systems. Human forms dissolve into buildings and streets, visualizing the tension between our authentic, private psyche and the public persona demanded by the outside world. This collection exists on the boundary between the conscious and the subconscious, asking a poignant question: In a world of concrete and code, how much of what we present as "self" is a genuine reflection, and how much is a reflection of the world itself?
