Second collaboration board with my DADA friend, Daveed. Daveed Shwartz is a painter and animator whose work has been exhibited internationally, from the Tate Modern in London to the Skirball Museum in Los Angeles. Known for his strange and humorous explorations of life’s fragility, Daveed creates compositions that balance the organic and mechanical, the real and imagined. His practice blends traditional painting, sculpture, and collage with digital animation, often placing solitary figures in surreal, turbulent landscapes. Drawing on his background in miniature model-making for blockbuster films, he experiments with diverse materials and formats, infusing his art with both introspection and irreverence.
