I wanted Rome to feel ancient yet alive, monumental yet quiet a place where the Colosseum doesn’t dominate by size, but by presence where the old basilicas breathe the same air as the modern skyline where everything bends to the rhythm of the root shape.
Rome, to me, is not nostalgia. It’s that impossible mix of fragility and endurance. Things built to last forever, and yet weathered by time. That tension is what I wanted to capture, the beautiful erosion.
