This new collection of work feels like a full-circle moment. Twenty years ago, Google Image Search was this novel new tool that I enjoyed using for collecting images. 15 years later an impulse to mishmash put me in a the path to working digitally. Then AI and it seemed to do the mismatching for me, opening a space to tap into something new, and explore a new way of searching for images. Now, working with the latest video capabilities the practice has reached a decisive A breakthrough with integration of continuous, coherent speech. For me, this feels as significant as when cinema moved from silent films to "talkies." This leap unlocks a completely new dimension for narrative.
