This is a project of 3 self-portraits I drew from my own photographs. Pencil on paper.
About freedom of expression, absence of gender stereotypes, social condemnation, about love for myself and love in principle.
I care about this topic and I express myself in my art. I would really like men to paint their nails, wear makeup, wear dresses, stay home with their children, and shave their body hair. That is, if that is what they want to do. I would like women to wear slacks, cut their hair short, develop careers and work as subway drivers. That's if they want to.
Femininity is not about facial makeup and lace underwear. Masculinity is not a pumped-up body and the ability to hammer nails.
