verse
Grapes of wisdom, a portrait so rare,
An elder of Japan, with grape-like hair,
Wrinkles of life etched on his face,
A lifetime of learning, a story to embrace.

In his beige coat, he stands so tall,
A symbol of strength, despite life's fall,
His colorful hair, a tribute to the vine,
And the knowledge he's gathered, so divine.

Through seasons of life, he's learned to grow,
And embraced the wisdom, that time can bestow,
With eyes full of knowledge, and a heart full of grace,
He shares his story, and leaves a trace.

A life of purpose, a journey of light,
He's learned to shine, even in the darkest of nights,
And as we look at his portrait, we see,
The beauty of age, and its true majesty.

For in every wrinkle, there lies a tale,
Of laughter and tears, of success and fail,
And in every grape, there's a lesson to learn,
Of life's sweet nectar, and all its turns.

So let us honor this elder so wise,
And celebrate the grapes, that give us surprise.
