“Gray Matter,” the work that gives its name to the exhibition, is a statement on indefiniteness in the matter of thought: a triple portrait of a girl, a cyclops inside the cave of her mind with a candle-like flame burning at its eye, and a stylized emerging skull, all suspended in a gray infinity. The possibilities of interaction highlight the implicit potential in stretching, distorting, and playing with the materiality of the digital polygon, shifting perception and meaning.
