2025 January #003.
Stellar debris settles
on marble steps that once
led to temples of reason
now housing cosmic dreams
Between classical pillars
strange spheres gather dust
like forgotten planets
awaiting rediscovery
Light bends through gauze
casting spectral shadows
while wildflowers claim
territory among ruins
We build shrines to contain
what cannot be held
collecting remnants of stars
in earthbound vessels
Each sphere holds echoes
of distant atmospheres
compressed into matter
dense with possibility
Time moves differently here
where garden meets cosmos
where decay transforms
into new configurations
The architecture of space
crumbles into soil
feeding roots that reach
toward unknown orbits
Gravity anchors these relics
while flowers stretch skyward
completing cycles begun
in nebulous nurseries
Matter remembers its origins
in this sanctuary of spheres
where classical order yields
to cosmic wilderness
Let monuments fall
let gardens grow wild
let stellar seeds scatter
across broken columns
