Proof of Work is a series of manually generated images by Jonathan Chomko. Each graphic pixel corresponds with one gesture, resulting in images where visual density is directly correlated with physical effort. In Red Blue Center, the artist attempts to tap the same location on the trackpad and fill the screen with solid colour, any divergence from the starting point shifting the hue of the added pixel. The images were generated daily, pixel canvas size doubling each day until one image could not be completed in one day. Description

Precise measures of abstract artistic effort.

Each graphic pixel corresponds to one keypress or tap, resulting in images where visual density is directly correlated with manual effort.

Series begin with a 1x1 pixel canvas, which doubles daily until one image cannot be completed in one day. Each token is a unique 1/1 minted on a custom contract with a hard-coded limit of 50 tokens. Each token includes the image, and a video documenting its production.
