Proof of Work is a series of manually generated images by Jonathan Chomko. Each graphic pixel corresponds with one keypress, resulting in images where visual density is directly correlated with physical effort. In Blue Duration, time elapsed between keypresses modulates the brightness of the colour. The artist aims to fill the canvas with consistent colour, but small variations between keypresses become visible as the scale of production increases. The images were generated daily, pixel canvas size doubling each day until one image could not be completed in one day. Each graphic pixel corresponds to one keypress or tap, resulting in images where visual density is directly correlated with manual effort.

Series begin with a 1x1 pixel canvas, which doubles daily until one image cannot be completed in one day. Each token is a unique 1/1 minted on a custom contract with a hard-coded limit of 50 tokens. Each token includes the image, and a video documenting its production.
