/ˈpasɪdʒ/
noun
A sojourn between the physical and digital realm.
On the eve of my debut UK solo exhibition, I thought it was time to release a work which encompasses all sides of my practice.
What began as audio stimulus (a sound score I composed in the Scottish highlands using field recordings and synthesisers), became a physical painting (which is included in the sale measuring 120x100x6cms), which in turn became a living painting that flows and changes with the score.
A piece of work exisiting in 3 parts, but which could not exist without each of its former states.
This is a theme present in my previous work, alongside the body of work I built for my solo exhibition "Syzygy" in Dubai at the start of this year, and one which will continue as I further my research into altered sensory perception and the expansion of painting.
As mentioned prior, the physical painting (used as the thumbnail) is included in the sale of this work, measuring 120 x 100 x 6 cms ( 47 x 39 x 2.4 inches) and shipping is included.
