My next scout mission is aimed at Eden in an attempt to capture a shot of the elusive Nina-banded Armadillo and if possible, procure a fully matured egg back to my ship lab.
18 Delphini b, formally named Arion and now establish its official name - Eden - is a planet approximately 249 LY away from Earth, orbiting the yellow giant star 18 Delphini in the constellation of Delphinus.
The planet was terraformed for 300 years before the arrival of the first human colony and is now the home of 5 million inhabitants. Eden colonies are spread wide across the planet embedding themselves fully into the natural environment in an attempt to keep the planet healthy and untouched by human development and to survive the hostile environment by being part of nature.
The colonies cover the land in a patchwork quilt of browns and reds, the color of Eden nature itself, and the lush wild landscape of Eden around the colonies is dominated by gigantic forests that had grown everywhere.
