Slices of TIme is a blend of two images shot 4 months apart. Sunrise combined with Night are what comprises this image. I felt that "Slices of Time" was appropriate because so often in NYC modern architecture lives alongside the historic landmarks. NYC is both historic and on the bleeding edge of architectural innovation.
When I make a blended image, my goal is to make the blend so gentle that the eye accepts it before the mind catches on. I am pleased to offer up one of my favorite blended images todate.
