Using AI + Alchemy this work brings together the deep past and the far future. AI is combined with the darkroom photography technique of Wet Plate Collodion, one of the earliest forms of chemical photography ever discovered in the 1850's and the premier image generation technology of its time.
Wet Plate Collodion, traditionally used in antique portraiture, is now able to capture the descendants of data. With the emergence of AI, we can look at our future through this historic process blurring the borders of time and space.
