An Observation made within Sam Spratt's "IX. The Monument Game" - Dad, I lost you three years ago. The pain was enormous, a void never filled.
I thought I had healed, but here, in the most unexpected of places, a bolt of recognition, devastating me.
I see you! Evergreen. Against all odds. A miracle among the madness.
Always, you delighted in nature, saw beauty that others missed.
I see you, hear you:
“there is beauty everywhere, all around us...”
And I am open to it, my soul aches with it, and my heart is full.
Thank you, Dad for leading me to it once again.
