Trouble For The Voinovich Boys 18" x 24" x 2" is the first mixed media collage painting I created in 1999. I was living in an apartment with a roommate who was an industrial designer, I was working as a graphic designer. We were discussing art and I went upstairs and painted this piece, the next morning very hesitantly I showed the work to my roommate Dean Reinemund. He was extremely supportive which gave me the courage to pursue a painting career. In 2002 this piece became the first of my work to be exhibited in a gallery, Edward Hopper House Art Center, Nyack, New York, part of a group exhibition of figurative art. Now Trouble For The Voinovich Boys is the first piece minted under TAOM contract.
