Forged in the heart of the Ley Lines, Ragnar was created by the Technocratic race known as The Machina. Ragnar was created as a way of protecting the Machina against outside Alchemist who sought the treasure trove of knowledge that they possess.

Ragnar was created to take on the plight known as The Sight, a race of hive-minded creatures that seek nothing but to lay waste to The Machina, in an age old war. Created in the beginning of the war, and constantly upgraded via new technology and traded resources. Adorning the finest armor that the Machina can create, an amalgamation of Siren Scales, and Lazarus crystals stolen from the Nulvoxi. He is nothing but a war machine against the onslaught of The Sight, created during the Great War, with only one parameter, and that is to protect The Machina.

As the war has raged on, Ragnar has become a symbol of hope to the Machina. Ragnar is considered an idol and protector of the Machina, an old world technology from when they were the pinnacle of Civilization. He has never faltered in his duty, and continues to fight on even in the toughest of times. Ragnar is a symbol of strength and fortitude, and is known as the Alchemical Construct.
