'Trapped' is a work around the feeling of being stuck or trapped. This feeling has led me through cycles of frustration, depression and anger. When I find myself stuck in my head, it's as if I am running around in circles, falling in similar patterns. While the pieces may initially appear peaceful, natural, and flowing, each artwork includes at least one shape trying to break free from its confinement but not succeeding. This contrast highlights the struggle between the desire for freedom and the reality of both real and perceived limitations. Technically, the work is created by selecting Fibonacci sequenced or random points within a confined space after which the Delaunay triangulation algorithm is used to separate them, from that point we apply a lot of different parameters to each separated area to create the final work.
