Comments: Ethan and I woke up early and drove to the other side of the island. I went scuba diving under water and he snorkeled up top with the turtles. After our ocean morning we drove a little bit further to Polihale State Park. We ran into a hippie in a van who smoked us up. As I took a big bong hit a woman approached us and started cursing out the hippie for selling fruit. She said, "Not in my Haena!" The interaction was getting very uncomfortable so Ethan and I slipped away as they still argued. It was a cloudy day and we could not see the view. Suddenly, the wind blew the clouds away and I was met with a perspective shift. I did not realize the scale and distance we were up from the water and it felt like a scene from Inception when the world curled over itself. We hiked for an hour and went back to the car. Both the woman and the hippie were gone! There was another woman in the parking lot arguing with her husband on the phone and as she got mad and we overheard her say, awww Henry "God Bless It." It taught me to bless the things we cant undo and understand or are frustrated with. We drove towards our side of the island. I was speaking to Ethan in the car about wanting to photograph a school teacher from the island. We saw a beautiful overlook and parked the car. Smoked a joint and saw this couple approach us. I introduced myself and they asked me to take a photo of them. I then asked if they would like to be part of our art project. Sharon & Ray reluctantly said yes. She said she was a school teacher on the island. My skin started to have goosebumps. I couldn't believe it! We manifested what we were thinking about, and it happened within the hour. I took a pineapple and mango from the car and gifted it to the couple. They exchanged fruits in the film. It was a reminder that we can wish for something and it can happen at anytime, even moments later.
