Comments: Jeong & Choi greeted us at the airport. Choi had not been to the DMZ so was more than happy to join us on the adventure. We went straight to the zone. Surprisingly, it was a long drive past the city of Seoul. We made it up to the boarder after lunch. We shared a large kim chi spread at a humble spot right outside the city. The car approached the parking lot to what felt like a theme park. I didn't expect there to be a ferris wheel and a public art park at the DMZ. It looked like there was a festival coming soon. We entered the main building which exhibited an entire history of the Korean war and the establishment of the zone. This is where the gondola transports you across the river. We flew across the sky in a small box on wires with an empty floor to see the ground, trees, and water. Once we arrived there was a trail that lead you to different sites. We found a gate that separates the north and south. It was up a hill away from the main path nearby a restricted zone. Jeong & Choi stood at the top facing one another. Jeong handed him yellow flowers as an offering of peace followed by a bow of respect. Choi accepted the flower offering and bowed back to his ally in solidarity. They were performing this dance to represent healing for the neighboring countries. I held the shutter down until the roll was finished. We rode the little grey box back across the river. In the car ride home we spoke more about healing. Jeong said he read my aura and he would like to help me. We arrived at our small wooden home with two bedrooms in the historic district. Ethan flipped through a few records and started playing vinyls. Jeong laid me down with his healing hands on my back. Breathing through the process. Surrounded by my friends listening to music; Feeling magnetic vibrations move through my body as he was praying over me. He clapped and I sprung up then started to serve black tea to everyone. The landlord knocked on the door to introduce themselves. They were artists too! We handed them small glasses and poured them tea. It was getting late so everyone started to leave. The couple went home downstairs, and Jeong planned on staying with Choi. I turned off the vinyl player that was playing Transylvania classical music and went to bed.
