Comments: Shavonne introduced me to the Sky Garden in Singapore. It is a futuristic botanical garden in the south marina. It was tropically foggy in the atmosphere of the city during this time of year. Everywhere was hot and humid. The climate complimented the attraction, which made it feel like an otherworldly planet with robotic planters. We found a perfect pink ground spotlight that lit Shavonne for the video shoot. It was getting dark and she recommended we visit a night market for yummy food to eat the local cuisines. I trusted her to do all the ordering as I could not read the menus and she was the local that knew the best spots. All she said was to get a table and she'll handle the rest. After ten minutes passed she came back with trays of foods from different vendors. Talking about digital art as we ate amazing noodles and soups. We were both stuffed and felt like we gained 20 lbs each by the end of it. The journey continued, after I found a fruit stall with bags filled with jackfruit, we walked towards a foot massage spot that she goes to every week with her husband. She sat me down in a chair and the parlor folks worked their magic. They were beating the shit out of my feet to the point where it hurt, yet relieved so much tension and pressure in the body. Its funny how that works. I was cringing in pain and the staff just kept laughing at me like a silly American. Shavonne showed no signs of pain, as she was laughing too. I was snacking on the Jackfruit trying to cope with the hour long endurance test. Though when we left I felt pretty amazing and my pot belly had calmed down a bit. We parted ways as it was time for her to go to bed, and time for me to head to the hotel. We planned to meet again tomorrow to meet with Clara at her gallery show.
