Comments: Before heading to the airport to Sydney. Lambie, Gersh, and I rode over to Kata Tjuta, the sister site to Ayers Rock for sunrise. There were many scattered mounds of ancient rock in this region. We arrived 30 minutes before sunrise watching the sky go from a dark blue hue to a glowing orange sun. We were the only people there at the time. The birds were chirping and watching us as we watched them. Three little birds whistling their happy tune. Three little humans catching a smile in the eyes of a sunrise burning through the sky. The orange sun, the red sand, and the blue sky all as one. Piercing the heart of Sir Gersh and his whacky fit. A shaman in his own right, a jester to the ancient kingdom we stood on. Somewhere out here in the middle of the desert, in the center of Australia. Empty lands with road runners and racing red kangaroos.
