Comments: It was sunrise at the golden Buddhist temple of Wat Phra Doi Kham on the mountain top with a giant white Buddha sitting on the edge. It is 2023, the year of the dragon. We entered the gold plated walkway with 2 dragon rails that coil up towards the ornate opening of the sacred space to pray and meditate. The light at the temple was blinding so bright as the walls and grounds are white and details shining gold. All you can see are the silhouettes of shapes and shadows if you make photos. A piercing light that cleanses the soul.
