Comments: Adinarayana in front of the sacred mountain in Tamil Nadu, Arunachala. We visited the Annamalaiyar Temple, A Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva and Parvati, located at the foothills of the Arunachala. The entrance was packed of people trying to pray and make worship to their guardian angels. Adinarayana grabbed our hands and pulled us past the metal gate. We quickly scurried through the labyrinth inside that constantly guides you through the walkways. A never ending circuit of meeting gods and gifting flowers. Hindu priests pressing their fingers on your forehead of pigments; oranges, yellows, pinks, and reds dots to mark the third eye blessings. We waited, we sweated, we prayed, and we gave sacrament to the temple. It felt like being inside the heart of the pyramids of giza. How were these temples made of stone? Who built them!? We walked to another ashram for Sri Ramana. It was said that the Arunachala mountain was his guru. Therefore his ashram sits at the foothills. When you visit this place it's important you walk counterclockwise around the entire mountain to pay respect. In our case, we drove the car around a couple of times around the mountain. We stopped at a pull off that took us into a smaller village. Adinarayana parked the car and we found a building that was under construction. We walked up the hollow stairs in the cement hallway with metal bars sticking out and made our way to the roof. This was the place, and we did not have much time as the neighbors were looking at us from below and the workers inside were wondering who we were but shrugged it off and continued working. Adinarayana put his hands together and prayed with the holy mountain. A bird flies by and symbolizes spiritual freedom and transformation. It's time to take flight!
