Comments: We had an early flight to France in the morning so we met with Ezra the poet during one of his meditative night walks through Berlin at 2 am. We spoke and smoked outside for an hour. Ezra is one of those people you can spend time talking with and exchanging radical spiritual ideals and prose. It was getting late and time to go. He gave me a gift before he walked off into the darkness, becoming a blur with the shadows in the night. Once we boarded the plane that morning I pulled the gift from my pocket. It was a small poem in a leather frame and I read it aloud to Ethan. It went along the lines of "The I, I am is the I, I am not." Till this day these few words make me think so deep, "I am that I am." So many questions... What we do is what we become? Who you are is based on how you live? It is what it is and we have to accept it? We are everything and nothing at the same time; Where oneness meets the self.
