Comments: We arrived in Berlin and headed straight to Expanded Art gallery. It was my first solo-exhibition in Europe and we were showcasing an entire set of my tarot scrolls from Smoke and Mirrors. The host of the show was non other than acclaimed art curator and writer, Anika Meier. I remember walking into the space and saw how perfectly arranged all 78 images on the wall. More than half of the artworks were horizontal and the rest vertical, yet they all fit together! A massive tarot puzzle that Anika navigated with ease. Thereafter, a large group of Germans arrived. The Friends of Finance group led by Mike, aka Warren Himself. What I appreciated and admired about this group of art collectors, was that they always traveled as a unit to support the newest event. It meant the world to me that the group, whom collected the entire series together months before the exhibit, came to meet in person and celebrate; It felt like a family. It felt like I belonged.
