Comments: An Aussie bloke named Marka set me up with his sister Jane in Dublin. She took us over to their family bar that they had for many generations. It was called Lowes. A Dublin staple. There we met Dara Lowe who was running the bar till the wee hours of the morning. He served us a couple pints of Guinness. The best in town and the beer of this Capital city. I normally do not drink alcohol, but sometimes you have to partake in a life experience and drink a fine crafted malty drink where it is handcrafted. Have not had a beer since and I'd like to keep it that way! Every time I drink I become someone else, and I do not like that feeling. To not be grounded, not be in control. It is strange and I prefer to smoke weed or ingest psychedelics. But hey, that's just me and how my brain works. Jane busted out a mini diorama of their old families home that sits in the bar. She was so proud to show us this familial artifact, as we were eager to learn more about the history of this families legacy they left to the younglings. It's funny, I met my internet friends sister and cousin before I met him in real life. Although, we would meet in Melbourne only a few months later. There is something about family. Being helped on an art project, to find people to connect with. The internet is great for that, especially if you are friends with people from all over the world as we are in the NFT space. You can GM your way around the globe, and in any country. You will never be alone. There will always be someone; an artist to connect with you. That is the beauty of art, that is the efficiency of being a part of the NFT community. It is sort of like a futuristic tribe filled with digital nomads. We all live in different places, but tend to show up in different countries to the same events. It is bizarre, yet fun to see who keeps coming around from place to place. Here we are at midnight roaming around Dublin with Jane as she shows us explicit photos of her and her friends on a yacht in Miami from a nude photoshoot to explore femininity and freedom. Then we are smoking a joint outside of an infamous MMA fighters bar, McGregor. We were smoking with a few local blokes from around the block then suddenly a rolls royce pulls up and a hyped up man smoking a cigar pops out of the side and walks up to us and hits the joint then goes inside his establishment. It was quite the scene. Jane joined us for one last pint at another old timey bar filled with senior locals at a late night concert. Ethan made friends with the host and put him on the mic. He sang an old Elvis tune and the entire building lit up with glee and sang along. It was a magical night and I got to see my friend live his dream, to become a musician. Jane drove us home after picking up some Irish Chinese cuisine from a late night spot, then hugged us goodbye at our tagged up doorstep. What happened tonight, I thought? It was like a dream that never ends and getting transported between scenes without remembering how we got to each place. It was fun, I was a bit tipsy since it has been almost 15 years since I had a drop of any beer. I was so ready for bed because we had to fly out to Denmark in the morning. On the way to the plane in the morning I had a lot to write home to Marka about our wild evening with his sister showing us around their beloved hometown. Cheers!
