Comments: Before I started collecting NFTs and digital art I was a street art nut. I loved collecting art from my friends and peers coming to age as an artist in New York City. One of those artists became a great friend, we also met at The Living Gallery. Frank Ape! You'd probably see his wheatpastes and murals around the city. He has a big mural over by the World Trade Center. I really admire the way he makes art. He has a notorious character that manifests in all shapes and sizes, in all different kinds of mediums and positive messaging. Over time he met his better half and cat spaghetti, and over some more time a baby Frank Jr. His work embodies the spirit of love and kindness. Setting boundaries and being a cool creature roaming through the streets of New York, and sometimes Los Angeles. Brandon, the creator of Frank Ape, makes art because its in his blood, it is what makes him alive! And I trust artists that NEED to make art. Not for money, but to live. I relate to that so much because art is what makes me happy, it is what heals my soul, it is what grants me the strength to wake up every day and approach this world with truth. It is the creative spirit that guides me, trusting the process every step of the way. Because art will always lead the way to the promise land. Art is the soul of humanity and makes life worth living. You manifest out of nothingness, generate wealth from the ether, connect to others by expressing emotions. It is the purest form of being human, and it is as ancient as our ancestors making marks on cave walls. For what? A strategy to take down a gazelle? A child playing with pigment with his hands on the stone? Our intrinsic urge to reflect our perceptions of reality outside of ourselves and onto a surface to reflect and ideate? How did we humans come to think in the first place? Art was the gift of Prometheus. The symbolic fire in our hearts to create nothing into something. Meaning into purpose. Art is the will to live, and to make it is a superhuman power.
