Comments: The lovely couple, Joey L and Kiya, invited me over to their sanctuary in Brooklyn to meet their sweet newborn baby to make a loving family portrait. These two photographic geniuses together make their magic through the lens and the stories they share. From wars to tribes to the other side of life. They tap into the well of a deep humanity that touches the depths of the soul. A sacred place where we can all feel the heart thump of what it is like being a human being on Earth in these remote places. Yet, here we find them in their home. Dressed like gods and goddesses to honor their humanity that they brought unto existence; Their golden crowned son. It is a blessing to make art with artist you respect and admire. I have known Joey for almost a decade and the first time we met he was telling us about how he lost his ego and found himself through DMT experience at our old friend Sean and Cas psychedelic abode in Greenpoint. His photography is massively successful and I am sure you have seen both his commercial and art work without even knowing his name. It is no coincidence that his angelic wife Kiya creates some of the most incredible photography and video artworks in the NFT community. I am a big admirer and collect both of their artwork. The story they tell together about Ethiopia is a story about humanity itself. It is the cradle of life, where all of us sapiens come from. So it was an honor to help uplift Joey to join the NFT space back in the day through Quantum with his incredible images. Joey also helped me achieve the ending to Moments of the Unknown! He introduced me to his family friend, Nibby. Nibby is a wonderfully generous soul. Fast forward to the end of this series, April 7th, 2026. I was shown the bones of humanities origins in an Ethiopian museum in Addis Ababa with the skeletal system of our most ancient ancestor lucy. The first human. Friendship made this all possible. And, It takes a village of support to make something special over a long period of time. Art brings us all together at some point or another, where it will always lead the way to love and enlightenment.
