Comments: Ethan and I spent the day riding bicycles all around the city like we were in Albert Hoffman shoes. After a few hours it was approaching the time to photograph someone, we cycled towards the Rijksmuseum and passed through what felt like a masonic tunnel. A great location for buskers to make a living, where the acoustic vibrations are felt thumping into the heart and heard crystal clearly in your ears. When we cycled through, the saxophonist was playing a Harry Potter theme song. It felt like we were wizards on our way to Hogwarts about to miss our train. Transported into another dimension until we reached the other end of the chamber where the echoes from the saxophone ceased to follow. We returned the bikes. Then Ethan reached out to his old roommate, Mathilde; They used to live in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Mathilde joyfully invited us over to her flat after she arrived from work. We took our shoes off and she started playing the violin for us. I have never seen anyone play this passionately before. She played like a prodigy preparing for Carnegie Hall. It was decided in this moment that this must be the video of the day. The way she moved, yet held her composure, moved me! The music guided the art today.
