Comments: We found our way to Mount Olympia, deep in the ferns of the hanging mossy forests. The lighth dew dripping down empty red ant hills. Bustling rivers as we search for Salmon flowing upstream to catch their migration to spawn new breeds. Looking for a soul in the forest to include in the artwork. Walking through the trails making portraits of Ethan for his new music album. A man and his son, Leif & Shadow Ellis, saw us shooting on broken branches and old dead stumps. When Ethan jumped down Leif shook our hands and complimented my Rolleiflex camera. A compliment is an invitation to connect, so I took it! Since he saw us making art, I asked if he would like to make art with us too. He smiled big and lifted up his shadow on to the same broken stump we were shooting Ethans record cover on. A man and his baby boy, the gentle connection between a father and son. When you go deep in the woods you'll never know what inspiration you will find, or people you will meet. Just walk down that trail and be open up your heart so the world can wake you up and take you on a wild ride in one of the most beautiful forests in America! Somewhere past active gas volcanoes and by the edge of the waters that borders Canada you will find this magical place, where the fairies roam free and they make their home in the moss castles.
