Comments: After my arrival into Amsterdam. I was suggested by my friend and curator, Anika Meier, to meet with a digital art and immersive experience museum curator at Nxt Museum, Merel van Helsdingen. The moment we met outside of the museum cafe we made the portrait of the day! Naturally, since we were in tulip country, I could not resist including the vibrant flower into the frame to honor the country I just arrived in. Merel treated me to a matcha inside the cafe before we took a tour of the new immersive video game exhibition that had just opened up. It was inspiring to see a whole world of institutional appreciation dedicated for the digital art sector, in all of its form and glory from blockchain to digital displays to immersive and interactive experiences. It was clear to me that this is the a home for experimental, novel, and innovative art forms in the Netherlands. After the shoot, I had biked home to prepare for Ethan to arrive. This was the day Ethan and I reunited since mind mapping the journey when we were together the first couple days into the project. He joined me as a friend and assistant; and by the end of the project he would go onto becoming the sound engineer for the film score and clips, as well as my trusty musical co-host to the MOTU podcast.
