Comments: God bless Ethan's mom, Rosanne. For her care and having us there in Madison, Wisconsin. I wrote this poem, or perhaps its a free associative thought about motherhood. To honor and respect the glory for the women that made us who we are today. Mother's bare us unto this Earth. We are a traveling vessel of consciousness transported through the portal of the womb. Mothers adorn us with love, devotion, and nutrition when nurturing us with their will power. To keep us alive and healthy as long as we can grow past infancy. To teach and provide for us during our adolescent stages. To hope and pray for a bright and beautiful future as an adult. For us to take care of them as they took care of us... It is the cycle of life. Gift your mother flowers every time you see her. You don't want to regret time like I do, when I carry a bounty from her rose garden to her grave. Mothers are the divine force that teach us how to be gentle. They teach us how to be kind. These are the blessed people we learn to find compassion in every one in every day life. How do we become a mother to our mothers when it comes that time? She passed down her wisdom throughout our entire life. Mom is a part of us, a deepened space in thine heart. For every beat, is a rhythm and a rhyme from the time before birth. When our hearts and souls were intertwined for nine long months. Our parents are always doing there best. And as we grow old, we realize the mistakes they made its up to us to break those chains. To transform generational traumas through awareness. To heal is to forgive and reframe. For they did not know any better, or have the tools as we do now. Nor do we, when we pass on our genes to the future... to the youth that comes thereafter who will say the same about us as they age. Life is beautiful and short. Love yourself like you love your mother, for she forgave the pains of birth. A temporary sacrifice for a new and long life. Worthy to go through again and again. To create a family; A mothers blessing. For humanity to persist. I love you mom. Thank you for this gift. You may not be here anymore but I still carry you in my heart, in my thoughts, in my dreams, and in my prayers. Every day that goes by I see a bird or a butterfly that reminds me of your hazel eyes. Arch angel Gabrielle. Thank you for your protection and guidance from the spirit world. For shining love and light into my life on even the cloudiest days. I wish you were here so I can see your smile again, or call my name out. I hope I made you proud for the man I became because of you today. Your love lives on; Forever in our hearts <3
