Comments: We arrived at the glacier. Strapped on the spiked chains to our boots and headed up the face of the blue and white ice beauty. There were crystalline clear cavernous tunnels and ice pools with pure waterfalls that you can drink from. We continued on higher through the cloudy haze to meet with Adam who was preparing the ice spikes to fasten a zip line over the large crater in the glacier. I created Adam's portrait as he was testing the zip line suspension. Everything was okayed for us to give it a try too. Adam gestured to me that it was my turn to go. I nervously accepted as I grew up with a fear of heights; Deciding that this was the medicine, to face fear by embracing it and moving towards it. To welcome it into my world, where the fear can finally disappear. I ran straight off the ledge and slid half way across where I got stuck in the middle. Suspended above a bottomless pit. I laughed at the irony, then pulled myself across to get off. This was the year to face all fears, so why stop here?
