Comments: On our way up towards the North Eastern states we made a pit stop in Cape cod. To visit Ethan's aunt and uncle, Deborah & Ron. They lived on a lake house with their twin dogs. It was a serene day making art, writing poems, and swimming in the lake. This week was filled with family and friends, just the support we needed to carry on our crazy adventure. The water was swaying like a rippling mirror, reflecting and refracting the light above. Parallel worlds of fluidity and materiality. Where do the two ends meet and the worlds collide on the horizon line? As a Libra I am always seeking the balance, the duality in life. An honest equilibrium of perception. Weighing the scales with my heart and a feather so the world feels a bit more lighter altogether. Nature takes us back to her roots. Life is better at the swimming hole like our ancestors and animals gathered. You can see your reflection like narcissus did when he drowned, or you can peer beneath the clear transparency and notice the profound. It is a matter of perspective, to choose the self over others, or view life in its purest form; experiencing and empathizing through consciousness to discover deeply. Simply wondering, what it might feel like to be one of these fish. With their bugged out eyes and kissing lips. Does it know its purpose, what its looking for or how it feels? Or, is it looking to find its next meal.
