Comments: Ryan and I arrived at Gljúfrabúi Waterfall in the late afternoon as we are now heading east towards the glaciers. I had never seen so many waterfalls in the same place at once flowing down the mountain side. As if a new waterfall can be born through a glacial river any given day, as there may be volcanic eruptions at any given time. I entered a cave towards the mouth of the waterfall and was struck with sublime feeling as the water pounded the ground with immense force. Beautiful and chaotic rumbling; peaceful yet powerful. After 30 minutes I had left, to approach strangers to get involved in the art project. I saw Arya and his brother approach with a big smile and vibrant yellow jacket shining on an overcast day. In this moment, I recognized how aesthetically well he compliments the environment and asked if he would like to be part of the film. He nodded yes, I directed him to take his shoes off and stand on the moss. He did, and then wandered down towards us. He fell, and thankfully caught himself. We didn't realize was how slippery the ground was...
