“The colorful 3D humans that appear in Peter Burr’s works fall and pile up as if they were objects. This gives us a third-person perspective to the human form, which we naturally feel emotionally attached to. In ‘Mode Confusion,’ we see people walking aimlessly in the distance and beings who seem to be watching them from the foreground. A flashing plate stands in front of the people in the foreground, seemingly obstructing their line of sight.
