In the meadow of monotony, a poppy dares to bloom, An opiate of passion against the suited figures gloom. The symphony of sameness, broken by love's rogue note, One heart entranced by undertow, while others merely float.
Unseen hands of love pull him, where scheduled tides won't rove, Trading comfort's worn path for the poppy's whispered love. A red splash in a sea of grey, undertow's secret dive, In the world's rigid parade, love's fugitive is alive.
