“Ecdysis.” It means the act of shedding an old layer. For me, it’s not only about physical change but also emotional transformation. letting go of something you once protected, even when it hurts.
The inspiration came from how humans try to hide their decay with beauty. We deny time, we deny death, but those things are always there, under our skin. I combined flowers, skeletons, and a human face to show this tension. The contrast between life and death, beauty and ruin, helped me express the quiet sadness that comes with accepting change.
