Jason was the first to recognize printmaking as my favorite stylistic inspiration: "I see Sarin’s work as pulling from the aesthetic of the German Expressionists. Similar to the woodblock prints of artists like Emil Nolde and Erich Heckel, Sarin’s work has bold, flat patterns and graphic use of black. She also incorporates the textures resulting from the process as a feature rather than hiding them, another signature trait of the Expressionist woodblock printmakers." based on the original drawing, GAN chained and pythoned.
