In honour of the Cult of Crypto Art and made specifically for our group show in Tokyo, Crypto Abyssalis is my latest zoomorphic avatar concept. While we can only speculate how future digital lifeforms might choose to represent themselves, I humbly present these designs—provably handcrafted by a human in VR and resolutely non-anthropomorphic.
This particular Metaphyla design draws inspiration from obsidian mirrors and the colossal squid. It wants your attention. It wants to draw you in.
