A standalone self-portrait, ‘self-organising’ is the first of a series that came into creation during 2022. Initially labeled ‘MFA’ this small series
of artworks marked my first formalised usage of what today constitutes my modern self-portraits solution.

The creation and evolution of the toolset in use for this artwork’s creation is a modernisation of my self-portraits solution that I have used going back to early 2021. ‘MFA’ along with an earlier subset of precursor outputs labeled ‘Consensus’ was an important step for me and my technical process, influencing all the generative work that I have since then worked on.
